The Three Yachts: Evrima, Ilma, and Luminara
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection operates three Evrima-class ultra-luxury yachts. Each carries up to 298 guests in 149 all-suite accommodations with private terraces. All three travel up to 18 knots with a 246-member crew.
Evrima (Launched 2020)
The first yacht in the fleet and the original Evrima-class blueprint. Evrima sails Mediterranean summers and Caribbean winters, with select transatlantic crossings. Ideal for first-time Ritz yacht cruisers seeking the founding experience.
Ilma (Launched 2024)
Larger than Evrima with refined suite layouts and expanded public spaces. Ilma covers the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, and crossing voyages. Often the choice for repeat guests upgrading from Evrima.
Luminara (Launched 2025)
The newest and most ambitious yacht in the collection. Luminara sails the broadest itinerary range, including the Mediterranean, Asia (Japan, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia), Alaska, the Caribbean, and the South Pacific. Owner's Suite layouts on Luminara are the largest in the fleet.

Ritz-Carlton Yacht Destinations & Itineraries
Mediterranean (May–October)
The yacht's smaller size unlocks ports impossible for large cruise ships: Portofino, Capri, Hvar, Patmos, Bodrum, Cassis, and dozens of fishing villages and exclusive marinas. Typical itineraries depart from Athens, Venice, Civitavecchia, Barcelona, or Monte Carlo and run 5 to 14 nights.
- ✓ Greek Isles: Mykonos, Santorini, Crete, Rhodes, Patmos, Milos
- ✓ Italian Riviera & Amalfi Coast: Portofino, Capri, Positano, Sorrento
- ✓ French Riviera: Monaco, Cannes, Saint-Tropez, Antibes
- ✓ Croatian & Montenegrin Coast: Dubrovnik, Hvar, Split, Kotor, Zadar
- ✓ Turkish Coast: Bodrum, Kusadasi (Ephesus), the Lycian shore
Caribbean (November–April)
Caribbean itineraries focus on the small, hard-to-reach harbors big ships skip. Most depart from San Juan, Bridgetown, or Philipsburg and run 7 nights.
- ✓ Eastern Caribbean: St. Barths, Anguilla, Virgin Gorda, St. Lucia, the Grenadines
- ✓ Southern Caribbean: Barbados, Bequia, Tobago Cays, Mayreau
- ✓ Lesser Antilles: Antigua, St. Kitts, Nevis
- ✓ Private beach experiences at exclusive, small-ship-only anchorages
Northern Europe & Baltic (Summer)
Luminara and Ilma sail Northern Europe in select summer windows. Itineraries explore the British Isles, Iceland, Norway, and the Baltic capitals. See Baltic & Northern Europe highlights →
Asia (Year-Round on Luminara)
Luminara expanded the fleet's reach with sailings across Japan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore. Itineraries from 7 to 14+ nights with multiple regional embarkation ports.
Alaska & the Last Frontier
Summer Alaska sailings deliver intimate yacht access to glaciers, fjords, and wildlife viewing impossible on conventional cruise ships. Explore Alaska itineraries →
Transatlantic & Crossing Voyages
Repositioning crossings between Caribbean and Mediterranean typically run 10–14 nights with extensive sea days. These voyages often price 30–40% below per-night rates of standard itineraries and offer the deepest immersion in onboard amenities, enrichment programs, and guest-chef events.
How Ritz-Carlton Yachts Differ from Traditional Cruise Ships
Intimate Capacity, 1:1 Service Ratio
With up to 298 guests and 246 crew, a Ritz-Carlton yacht delivers a near 1:1 crew-to-guest ratio. Compare that to traditional cruise ships carrying 3,000–6,000 guests at a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio. Your suite ambassador learns your name and preferences on day one.
All-Suite, All-Terrace Accommodations
Every accommodation in the fleet is a suite, and every suite has a private outdoor terrace with premium furniture. There are no inside cabins, no oceanview-only categories, no obstructed views.
All-Inclusive at the Ultra-Luxury Tier
Specialty dining, premium liquor, WiFi, marina watersports, gratuities, and 24/7 in-suite dining are all included. There are no per-restaurant cover charges and no upcharges between menu items.
Access to Small Harbors and Exclusive Marinas
The yacht's draft and footprint open ports that exclude conventional cruise lines: small Mediterranean coves, private Caribbean beach clubs, Croatian fishing villages, and remote Asian harbors.
Longer Port Stays & Overnight Docking
Itineraries often include late-night departures or full overnight stays in marquee ports—Mykonos after midnight, Dubrovnik for an evening, Saint-Tropez for a full sunset and dinner ashore.
Open-Seating Flexible Dining
No assigned dining times, no assigned tables, no formal nights. Choose any of the five restaurants on any evening, dine whenever the kitchen is open, or order full-menu room service to your terrace.
Dining and Bars Aboard the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection
Five restaurants and six bars are included in every voyage. There are no cover charges, no specialty surcharges, and no reservation limits.
Five Restaurants
- ✓ S.E.A.—the signature international restaurant, with a daily-changing menu tied to the itinerary
- ✓ Talaat Nam—Pan-Asian cuisine spanning Thai, Vietnamese, and Japanese dishes, with fresh sushi and tableside service
- ✓ Mistral / Evrima—Mediterranean cuisine: handmade pasta, wood-fired pizzas, grilled fish, Iberian and French wines
- ✓ The Grill—classic steakhouse with prime cuts, fresh lobster, and a heavy-pour wine program
- ✓ Pool Deck & Marina Dining—alfresco breakfast through sunset, with meals served on the marina platform at the water's edge
Six Bars and Lounges
- The Living Room—afternoon tea and evening cocktails
- Observation Lounge—270-degree views and live entertainment
- Pool Bar—frozen drinks and casual refreshments
- Wine Vault—private tastings of rare vintages
- Marina Bar—drinks at sea level when the marina platform is open
- The Humidor—cigars and aged spirits
Marriott Bonvoy Integration on Ritz-Carlton Yacht Cruises
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection participates in Marriott Bonvoy. You earn points on eligible voyage charges and receive elite-tier recognition aboard. Points cannot currently be redeemed for free yacht voyages, but they can be applied across the Marriott portfolio of hotels and partner experiences
StarsDesk's Marriott STARS status means we book Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection while preserving full Bonvoy point earning and elite recognition. Bookings made through non-STARS travel agencies sometimes lose elite recognition entirely. Read how Bonvoy Ambassador benefits stack with STARS →

Travel Logistics: Flights, Transfers, Documentation, Dress Code
Air & Transfers
Most guests fly in the day before sailing to avoid delays. StarsDesk handles business and first-class air through preferred airline partnerships, books private car transfers between airport and yacht, and coordinates pre- and post-cruise hotel stays at Ritz-Carlton, Edition, or St. Regis properties when desired.
Embarkation
Boarding typically runs 1:00–4:00 PM with suites ready on arrival. Departure is between 5:00 and 7:00 PM depending on itinerary. StarsDesk clients receive a personalized welcome note from the General Manager, in-suite welcome amenity, and in-person introduction at boarding.
Documentation
- ✓ Passport valid at least 6 months beyond voyage end date
- ✓ Most Mediterranean and Caribbean ports require no visa for U.S. travelers; StarsDesk advises on any electronic authorizations needed
- ✓ Current health requirements communicated at booking and prior to departure
Dress Code
The standard is "country club casual"—sophisticated but unfussy. Days are resort casual: sundresses, linen, polos, swimwear at the pool. Evenings move to smart casual: dress pants or dark jeans with collared shirts for men, dresses or dressy separates for women. There are no formal nights and tuxedos are not required.
