Seven Seas Prestige: the first new ship class in a decade
Seven Seas Prestige debuts on 13 December 2026 with a 14-night transatlantic crossing from Barcelona to Miami. The inaugural season runs 13 voyages across the Caribbean and Europe, including two transatlantic crossings and two Panama Canal transits, with sailings of 10 to 15 nights.

Mediterranean
Regent's largest region by excursion count. Greek Isles, the Adriatic, the Italian and French coasts, Iberia and the eastern Mediterranean. April through November, typically 7 to 14 nights with longer Grand Mediterranean itineraries.
Caribbean and Panama Canal
Eastern, southern and western Caribbean plus canal transits, departing Miami, San Juan and Bridgetown. November through April.
Northern Europe and the Baltic
Norwegian fjords, Baltic capitals, the British Isles and Iceland. May through September, with extended daylight and overnight port stays on many sailings.
Alaska
Inside Passage, Hubbard Glacier, Vancouver and Victoria. May through September, round-trip or one-way, typically 7 to 10 nights.

World Cruises and Grand Voyages
World Cruises have operated since 2002 and run beyond 100 nights across six continents. Grand Voyages are extended regional journeys with added inclusions and overnight stays. Both open for booking well over a year ahead and sell heavily to returning guests.

Every restaurant on every Regent ship is included in the fare. There are no cover charges and no per-venue limits - only reservation availability, which is why priority booking matters.

Regent fares move constantly with season, itinerary, ship and promotion, so any fixed table would be wrong within weeks. Two published reference points give the shape of it: inaugural-season fares on Seven Seas Prestige open from $6,499 per guest for a Deluxe Veranda Suite on sailings of 10 to 15 nights, while the Skyview Regent Suite on the same ship is priced at $25,000 per night with a dedicated butler, daily spa treatments, a private car and guide in every port, and unlimited laundry.

Flights, transfers and embarkation
Air
Flights are included only with the Ultimate All-Inclusive Fare, with air class customisable where available. On the standard fare you arrange your own air, and Regent applies no transfer entitlement. Either way, fly in the day before - a missed embarkation is not a recoverable situation.
Transfers
Coach transfers between airport and ship come with the Ultimate fare, together with a Blacklane private chauffeur credit of up to $500 per suite. Guests in Concierge suites and above also receive transfers connected to the included pre-cruise hotel night.
Embarkation
Boarding is generally early afternoon with suites ready on arrival. A safety briefing is held before departure. Sailing time varies by port, typically late afternoon to early evening.
Documentation
A passport valid at least six months beyond the voyage end date is required for international itineraries. Visa requirements depend on ports of call; Regent issues destination-specific guidance after booking.
Dress code
Regent's standard is elegant casual in the evening: dress pants or dark jeans with a collared shirt for men, dresses, skirts or dressy trousers for women. Jackets are welcome but not required. Shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops are not appropriate in restaurants after 6:00 pm. Some longer voyages schedule optional formal evenings, where cocktail attire or a dark suit works. Daytime is resort casual throughout.

It depends entirely on ship, season, itinerary length and category, and Regent's promotional calendar moves the numbers frequently. Do all Regent suites come with a butler?
No. Butler service starts at Penthouse Suite level and applies to every category above it. Deluxe Veranda, Serenity and Concierge suites are served by a suite attendant team rather than a butler. Concierge level adds a one-night pre-cruise hotel package and priority booking for excursions and restaurants, but not a butler.
What is the average age of Regent guests?
Regent does not publish an average age. In practice the line skews toward experienced travellers aged 50 and over, with a meaningful contingent in their 40s on shorter Caribbean and Mediterranean sailings. The product is adult-oriented: no children's clubs, no dedicated kids' facilities, and enrichment programming aimed at adults. Longer world and grand voyages skew older still.
Can you wear jeans on a Regent cruise?
Yes, within reason. Dark, well-kept jeans with a collared shirt meet Regent's elegant casual evening standard in most venues. Distressed or faded denim, shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops are not appropriate in restaurants after 6:00 pm. Daytime dress is resort casual with no denim restriction.
How does Regent compare with Silversea, Seabourn and Explora Journeys?
Regent's differentiator is unlimited complimentary shore excursions in every port, which none of the others match on the same terms. Silversea offers door-to-door fares including international air and operates a genuine polar expedition fleet. Seabourn runs smaller ships with a similar all-inclusive philosophy and its own expedition vessels. Explora Journeys is newer, with larger ships and a more contemporary design language. Suite size and space per guest favour Regent; itinerary reach into remote polar regions favours Silversea and Seabourn.
Does Regent Seven Seas offer expedition cruising or Zodiac landings?
No. Regent operates classic ocean ships, not ice-class expedition vessels. Antarctic itineraries are scenic cruising along the peninsula with no landings - ships carrying more than 500 guests are not permitted to put passengers ashore in Antarctica. There are no Zodiacs, kayaks, parkas or expedition landing teams. If you want a landing-based polar experience, that is a different category of cruise.
How many ships does Regent Seven Seas have?
Six ships are in service in 2026: Seven Seas Navigator, Mariner, Voyager, Explorer, Splendor and Grandeur. Seven Seas Prestige becomes the seventh when she enters service on 13 December 2026 with 822 guests and 411 suites - the first new ship class Regent has introduced in a decade.
Should I tip if gratuities are already included?
No additional tipping is expected. All gratuities for suite attendants, dining staff, bar staff and butlers are pre-paid in the fare, and crew are not permitted to solicit tips. Some guests choose to recognise exceptional individual service discretionarily at the end of a voyage; it is genuinely optional and no one on board expects it.
How far ahead should I book?
Twelve to eighteen months for anything where category and position matter, and for World Cruises, Grand Voyages and inaugural sailings - those routinely sell out on the day booking opens, largely to Seven Seas Society members. Six to nine months is comfortable for standard Caribbean, Mediterranean and Alaska sailings. Inside 90 days you take what remains.
Is the Wi-Fi good enough to work from the ship?
Unlimited Wi-Fi is included fleet-wide and satellite coverage across the fleet has improved substantially. Email, browsing and messaging are reliable. Video calls and heavy uploads are more variable, particularly at high latitudes and mid-ocean; higher-bandwidth packages are sold on board. If a specific meeting cannot slip, plan around a port day rather than a sea day.
Can families sail with Regent?
Families are welcome, but the ships are not built for children. There are no kids' clubs, dedicated facilities or children's programming. Connecting suites exist in limited numbers and need to be requested early. The minimum age is six months. Families travelling with teenagers who enjoy adult company generally do well; families needing structured childcare are better served elsewhere.
